Excess water collecting at the bottom can affect the machine and make drying less efficient. 4/ Check the voltage in your destination before traveling. For the US, Japan, Canada, and Taiwan, you will need the 110V version. For most European and Asian countries , you will need the 220V version.

Takes a Bit of Time But Great For Small Items

I tested this portable dryer a couple weeks with a variety of items. The instructions tell you not to have what you're drying to not pool at the bottom of the drying bag, and it's so true. I tried drying a long thin nightgown I squeezed as much water out as possible after washing. You need to use a hanger inside the bag to hang the item. I used a thick plastic heat resistant one. To avoid the dress' fabric from pooling at the bottom, I tried looping the gown around the bottom bar of the hanger. The gown was too long to dry adequately in one session. The gown did eventually dry by shifting it around mid-drying. I think it would've been best to hang the gown to air dry a bit before then putting under the portable dryer.

To use the dryer, you need to hang the device by its top strap on a hook, or looped around the neck of a hanger. If the dryer lays up against something flat (for me it was a closet door) the dryer rattles a little loudly up against the surface it was touching, but reversing the way it hung so the hanger was between the closet and the dryer (yeah I didn't initially think of doing that) the dryer sounded like a quiet hairdryer on the highest mode. The dryer is the size of a small thermos. There is a timer that goes up to 240-minutes in 30-minute increments by continuing to press the timer button to go up in numbers. The instructions instruct you to give a short waiting period before unplugging the device to let it cycle down, but it's not a long wait. Note: keep track of the bottom cap that holds in the bag in the device. It's easy to lose track of it since it completely detaches from the dryer and is small-ish and flat.

I later tried drying undergarments and this dryer worked great for that. Don't crowd too many pieces in and the items will be dry at the end of the 240-minute cycle. I used a 90-minute timer selection and rearranged the items to make sure all sides were exposed to the blowing air. Other small items dried fine in about 90 minutes so long as you wring out/squeeze as much water as possible.

Overall, this is worth owning, especially if you travel, and I'm glad I ordered it.

I am so impressed with this thing! It's surprisingly efficient for its size. It dries clothes evenly and quietly. It's perfect for small apartments and traveling, and it's great for delicate fabrics too. I use this to dry my bras so I don't have to run them in the dryer. As long as the clothes went through a decent spin cycle, and you don't overfill this bag, they dry fairly quickly.

I can't tell you how much I wish I had one of these when my daughter was young and still doing competitive cheer. It would have been a godsend on those out of town 2-day competition trips! Being able to wash the uniform before the second day is ideal, but you can't dry the uniform in the dryer or you risk losing rhinestones. After handwashing the uniform in the hotel sink, this portable clothes dryer can dry it overnight and have the uniform ready by morning for the next long and sweaty day. I will definitely be recommending this to all the other cheer moms!

Great quality and very easy to use, dries close quickly!

I absolutely love this portable heater! I have a portable washer so sometimes it's hard to get clothes dry by in the morning. It's especially helpful if you have children! I can put a hanger on the inside, it has a hook to hang one item on.

The noise level is very low so it doesn't wake anybody up and it dries article of clothing and about an hour. Easy installation as I can just hang it wherever as long as there is a plug nearby.

Great for travel to have fresh cloths cleaned and dried

I was just thinking how my last trip I had to drape wet clothes I had hand washed over the hotel fan vents and try to dry everything during my trip.
This dryer allows me to leave my recently cleaned clothes in the hotel space while I'm out and about and can wash and hang a few items to dry.
It's a good compromise of not having to carry more clothes and just carry this portable dryer to clean my and my families clothes and still enjoy the trip.
I do wish the cord was a bit longer, but it hangs up well on the hooks at the hotel and I usually have it running in the wash room. Another item would have been nice was to have a lanyard attached to the cap, or a mold to screw in the cap to the body of the unit so it's not just an extra piece that might get lost.
The fabric hooks do get stretched out, so I do not recommend hanging too many or too heavy items in the dry bag.
Don't over stuff it or the hot air cannot circulate.
